About Lightbulb Heads
We're a very small team with very big hearts, and we believe rescue dogs deserve a whole lot more than just a second chance — they deserve a spotlight. Lightbulb Heads exists to celebrate the overlooked, the underdogged, and the unexpectedly excellent, in all their tail-wagging glory.
Every design starts with love for one blocky-headed goofball and grows into a world where every pup is precious, every story matters, and the weirdos have their day. Thanks for being part of the pack.
Meet The CEO
Luke is a rescue mutt of mysterious lineage — possibly half teddy bear, half meatball sub — who spent over a year waiting at the shelter before finding his forever home. Now, he’s the heart behind Lightbulb Heads and the reason this brand exists. His mission? To prove that so-called “scary” dogs are some of the sweetest souls on Earth.
Luke’s hobbies include patrolling for crumbs, staring into your soul with loving judgment, and making humans laugh just by existing. He also loves Greek yogurt, bird watching, and you.
All designs were Luke’s idea (but don’t tell anyone — he gets shy about taking credit). He’s afraid of cats but he’d prefer to keep that off the record.
His official title is Chief Empathy Officer. Unofficially? He runs the place.

Most of our shirts are available in sizes XS–3XL, with inclusive fits and comfy styles. Be sure to check the size guide on each product for details. While we don’t yet have mockups for every size, rest assured — you’re included here, always.

All items are designed with love and made to order using trusted, U.S.-based production partners. This helps us reduce waste and offer more styles without overproducing — while still keeping quality and care front and center.

Most orders ship within a few days, but personalized pieces (like our signature Heart Sleeves) may take an extra 2–3 days. We like to think of it as the time needed to sew in the soul.

One day we read someone describe pitbulls as "dogs with lightbulb shaped heads" — and something about that just melted us. It stuck. It sparked. And here we are. Because love glows like a lightbulb, and rescuing is a bright idea.
